Just another day...

Yesterday was pay day! Thank the Lord! I paid the bills and went grocery shopping for...get this....110 Dollars! I couldn't even believe it. Got everything we needed for such a small amount...rarely happens! Jarod was proud, so was I =] And yet....we still had barely any money left. IDK where the hell all our money disappears to....cuz we sure don't get to spend it on anything fun, lately! grrrr....life as an adult, gotta love it right?! lol.

Today..oh yea today I did get to spend  some money on something I needed...slime and and air pump for the jogging stroller so I can get my fat butt out for a run! I tried to figure out how to get the slime in  the tires, but I must be having a blonde day cuz the instructions made no sense to me =| Tomorrow I am going to go for a run in the morning, while Jarod watches Krissy so I can get back into the swing of things before I have to push a 34 lb toddler and  heavy jogging stroller lol. I'll let you know how that works out! =\

I've been having a rough few days with some of the things people are

doing and saying....but I'm hoping I'm reading too much into things. Unfortunately when  I bring these issues up and we talk I still feel like I'm being lied to. But, I guess shit happens, I'm replaceable, especially as a friend.....at least that's how I feel. Oh well, my husband and Krissy still love me!

Anyways....that's it....for now.

This is what we signed up for?

One of my friends recently was having a rough time and posted on her FB that she missed her family. I guess someone then told her that "it's what she signed up for" and I have heard that many times, more times than I'd like. It's like since we are military wives we aren't allowed to miss our families....let me make something perfectly clear....

As a Military Wife I didn't sign up for anything, I married the man I love  so that I could SUPPORT him, to be there for him when he needed to vent about work and how much it sucked or to celebrate with him when he gets promoted, gets an award, does an extra good job at work, etc. To send him care packages while he's deployed, to take care of our home and child while he is away. To make sure that our daughter doesn't forget who her Daddy is or that she doesn't forget how very much he loves and misses her! I "signed up" for this marriage because I LOVE my husband with every ounce of my being, and he just so happens to be a Soldier, one of the bravest, most honorable men in the world! And to marry a military man takes a STRONG woman if I do say so myself. BUT that doesn't mean that sometimes we don't have bad days (just like our Soldiers) and that we don't miss our families back home (just like our Soldiers)  We have EVERY right in the world to vent and have a bad day and complain about it, just like every other person in this world. I "signed" up to STAND BY MY MAN and to be the Proud American that I am, the best way I know how, to be a loving wife and the best Mommy I can be. And I AM all of those things, So I think I and every other Military wife has the right to VENT every now and then....so to everyone that feels the need to be inconsiderate and flat out rude Fuck off and learn some respect! If it weren't for our men and what we do here at home while they are away then you wouldn't be Free to be you....so back the fuck off. If you've got nothing ENCOURAGING to say to these amazing women then don't say ANYTHING at all!!

Lazy to Productive!

I woke up at 630 this morning with every intention to work out, eat breakfast and shower. I didn't work out, I did eat breakfast and was feeling SUPER lazy, so didn't even shower til 11...ugh! I don't know what's been up with me but I seriously don't feel like doing ANYTHING, it's pretty ridiculous. I NEED to work out and I had a whole bunch of other crap to do around the house.

I did, obviously, feed Krissy and give her a bath and get her ready for the day.

After lunch I decided to let Krissy go out side and play, because after lunch she was putting on all of her swimsuits and wanted to go outside and play with her beach ball and in the water....

..SOOO I lug the slip n' slide out

and get it all ready to go outside. It's on for about 15

minutes and Krissy tells me she wants to go INSIDE!!

omg, It took me longer to set up and take down the

slip n' slide than the time she spent playing on it.

We get inside and she tells me she wants to go for a walk

she's wandering around the house saying "walk, walk

walk, walk...." LOL. So we walked to Byrne Dairy, I scrounged up some quarters so we could get ice cream. We order SMALL ice creams and the guy making them, obviously sees my small child and he makes these things HUGE, as big as Krissy's head, which is big lol. THEN I have to get him the money while holding two huge ice cream cones, yea ok! We sit outside and eat them, and of course this thing is huge so Krissy almost drops it.....I go inside and ask for a cup, one of the ladies looks at me like i'm crazy and says "what?" I showed her the ice cream cone in my hand and said "can i PLEASE have a cup" as all 3 of the ladies behind the counter are glaring at me. UGH, people are rude around here, it pisses me off!

We finally walk home, Krissy takes a nap

 so I finally start to clean up around the house, folded laundry while watching "Revenge of the Bridesmaids" cute movie lol. cleaned the kitchen, unloaded, loaded and restarted the dishwasher, dusted, vacuumed and last but NOT least I made brownies!! And they smell delicious....

so to sum all this nonsense up, my day went from super lazy to pretty productive, thankfully.

Hopefully Jarod will be on his way home soon so I can start dinner (homemade spaghetter, yum!) and then I'm gonna go to bed, cuz I just feel like I could sleep for days!

Yesterday....

Krissy didn't use the potty at all.

She actually didn't potty much at all,

but when she did it was in her pullup.

Frustrating!! =[

We went to the splash park with Heather,

Hayden and Lindsey! That was alot

of fun! I ran through the water with Krissy

and got SOAKED! lol. Krissy wasn't really

into the splash park part so she just played

on the playground, but it was still a good day.

When we got home she had a fever, and it kept

coming back off and on. It's the only thing

that is a symptom though. She seems fine and

isn't coughing or sneezing or complaining

of a tummy ache..I have no idea what's going

on. I figure if it continues to come back I'll

take her to the doc tomorrow...or the Urgent

care up the street, cuz we don't have the gas

money to take her to the doc on post =|

I got a box in the mail from my Mom today.

Inside was the Quilt she made me! Which I LOVE!

Some clothes for Krissy, that used to be mine.

AND My camera charger, YAY! I have felt

so lost without my camera for the past week lol.

it's made with some of my old shirts

from Girl Scouts, sports, band &

my favorite shirt from highschool...

it says "my cat can beat up your cat"

which I got because my cat, Mally (R.I.P.) was HUGE

and very mean LOL.

Last night we had breakfast for dinner,

which is one of my favorite meals!

I make awesome pancaks, if I do say so myself.

& Jarod makes really good scrambled eggs with cheese =]

Krissy ate part of a pancake and 4 sausage links!

All in all it was a good day and night!

Potty Training!

Krissy used the potty FIRST thing yesterday morning, she woke up with a dry diaper and then told me she needed to go potty, and she went!! Then she went all day on the potty, only wet her pullup once! Today she hasn't gone yet but she has sat on the potty! I think this might be it, finally! But I'm just going to be patient and see what happens! She'll keep up with it when she's ready, but I hope she's ready now! lol.

Droid

Ugh! My phone! is being SOOO slow, HTC Sense keeps force closing, and EVERYTHING takes forever to load. I had to reset my phone back to factory default, and ever since then it's been actin like crap, not to mention I lost ALL my numbers. Grrrr!!!!!!! I'm so frustrated!

First Blog

I'm new to the blogging world, not really sure how often I'll think to blog until I get the hang of all of this. Right now I don't even have any followers, since I obviously just started this blog, so really I'm just writing to write lol.

Gonna go to a fun day for my husbands unit today, not sure how I feel about it. I get nervous in large groups, people are judgemental, chicks are bitchy, especially the female soldiers, wtf is that about? I used to be one of them, I never acted like that. I've never even met a quarter of the people in Jarod's unit, lame! We'll see what happens.

Krissy will NOT go potty on the potty, she goes thru all the motions, but will not pee once she gets on the potty. Sooo frustrating, I've tried EVERYTHING = Grrr!! Alright, gotta go get ready for the day....hopefully it goes better than I'm anticipating it will.
