Letter to a potential homewrecker....

I dont know why you're in Jarods deleted contacts on his yahoo messenger because I haven't been able to talk to him yet. I dont know why you feel the need to talk to him or why you keep putting your nose in other peoples business, but whatever the reason I dont really care. I hate that you don't seem to understand that what you're doing is potentially harmful to people's lives.

I realize your not a wife or mother yet so it may not occur to you that having any kind of relationshp with my husband is harmful to our marriage. We have a daughter and your messing with HER family. You have no reason to contact my husband for any reason so I'm telling you woman to woman this is unacceptable. and it needs to stop.

I sincerely hope this is the only time I have to bring this up. I will fight for my family so this is the only friendly warning you will get.

Day 4--What you ate today

For breakfast I had--Pancakes, scrambled eggs and coffee
For Lunch I had--a slice of pepperoni pizza and a pepsi
For Dinner I had--cheesy brocolli and rice and some lemon iced tea....AND.....
I'm about to eat some oreos =] Which  I would have with some milk but I'm almost out.....lame! lol.

Day 3--Your Parents

My Mom's name is Kristin Kaylene...she is beautiful, kind hearted, strong (physically, emotionally and mentally) and amazing. She is 43 years young. She is my rock, she's always been there for me and she made me the strong, independent woman I am today. She has always supported me in everything I've done and she'd do anything for me in a heartbeat! She's the most wonderful Gramma to my daughter and she absolutely loves to spoil her (and me still, once in awhile) lol. I seriously couldnt ask for a better Mom! I am so blessed =]

Day 2--Your first love

Well.....when I was 16 I thought I was in love with a guy, but it wasn't love, not even in the least bit. I honestly think it was like that with the 2 or 3 guys I thought I loved at different time in my life...because looking back, I know now that none of that was true love. What I have now with my husband is TRUE love...where I give love and get the same, if not more, love in return. it seems so cliche, but I really do consider Jarod my first real, true love, the love of my life, my soulmate. I really feel blessed to have found someone that I can spend the rest of my life with and fall more and more in love with everyday! =]

Deployment, goals & life!

Well Jarod left for his 2nd deployment (1st to Afghan) It seems like he's been gone for SOO long but it's only been 9 days. I'm not sure if that's a sign that it's going by fast or slow =\ Krissy asks about him or talks about him EVERYDAY! She wants a daddy doll so she can sleep with daddy every night...too cute. She always tells me she wants to talk to Daddy and get SUPER excited when we do get to talk to him even if it isn't a very long talk. We're doing ok though, hangin in there, keepin busy! We're so very lucky to have the friends here that we do have, they've all been great at helping us and we're gonna do the same for everyone else going thru this too. 

My Goals for while Jarod is gone are to Start college online...I'm not sure what I want to do yet so I'm just going to get my general studies out of the way.

I'm going to LOSE weight, at least get back to the weight I was at this time last year and be able to fit into ALL my pants.I don't even know how I gained this much weight but it's gross and irritating! i'm going to STOP drinking soda, start eating better and excercise EVERYDAY! And I should really stop eating so much candy---my sugar intake is WAY too high! lol.

But first I need to get Krissy registered for daycare--I think it takes all of like 2 minutes, Idk why I keep procrastinating!

AND we are going to SAVE as much money as we can from this deployment and get out of debt!

Krissy has been using the potty all by herself, without my help, an even bigger girl now! 

She's going to be 3 in a little less than a month. 

My parents are coming to visit  for her birthday and Thanksgiving, my favorite holiday!! yay =D

This will be Krissy's 3rd Halloween, and we have never gotten pumpkins or been to a pumpkin patch, lame! lol. She's going to be Tinkerbell though and we're gonna go trick or treating with Heather and little Carl and whoever wants or decides to join us! =] The more the merrier!

Potty TRAINED!!!

Yes Krissy is Potty Trained! I was nervous to say anything because I didn't want to jinx it BUT it's been 5 weeks and 5 days since she started using the potty regularly and wearing her big girl panties so I think it's safe to say that she is potty TRAINED!!!

And we are SOO proud of her =D =D =D

9 years ago today...

I woke up and got ready for school like I did every morning. Ate a quick breakfast and got in my sisters car for the 15 minute drive to school. We heard somethin on the radio about the twin towers but didn't think anything of it and put on some music.

We got to school and went our separate ways. I found my friends and then headed to my first hour class when the bell rang. My first class was Prep English I with Mrs. Marshbanks. When I walked into the room I finally saw what was being described on the radio...a plane crashing into the World Trade Center. I couldn't believe my eyes. All first period we watched the news in awe, worry and sadness. 2nd period, I can't even remember what class that was, we did the same thing.

3rd Period we all rushed to our class. Mine was algebra. We all were sitting there, once again watching the news when all of a sudden our school secretary called over the announcements that we all needed to evacuate the building immediately! She was by no means calm or collected, which in turn scared the hell out of me and my fellow classmates. We rushed out of the classroom and into the hallway, where teachers were directing us to the gym parking lot. I finally found my best friend, Julie, we were both scared and we walked outside together.

On the day of an already horrible event someone decided to call in a bomb threat to our school and we were all sent home, scared and wondering what was going to happen next...

NEVER FORGET the lives lost, the families/loved ones of those lost on that September day. And NEVER FORGET The Heroes that are still fighting the fight and those brave men and women that have sacrificed their lives doing it.

The Military Wife Prayer

Dear Lord,

Give me the greatness of heart to see the difference between duty and his love for me. Give me understanding that I may know, when duty calls him he must go. Give me a task to do each day, to fill the time when he's away. And Lord, when he's in a foreign land, keep him safe in your  loving hand. And Lord, when duty is in the field, please protect him and be his shield. And Lord, when deployment is so long, please stay with me and keep me strong.

Weekend Shenanigans!

This weekend: On Friday Krissy and I went to Heather's house so the kids could play at the playground, then we got somethin to eat for lunch and Heather came to our house and spent the night and thankfully she did, because Krissy's last molars decided to pop through in the middle of the night. Heather stayed up with me which was really nice, needless to say we were exhausted the next day though. Which was the day that we were gonna do the shopping and getting ready for Lindsey's baby shower! Friday afternoon Krissy and Hayden played with play-doh, Krissy loves her play-doh but I don't think Hayden was too interested lol.

ON Saturday we met up with Heather C. and got our shopping done for Lindsey's baby shower. After that we went back to Heather B's house and got Lindsey's gift ready and got all the decorating done. That afternoon Hayden and Krissy had a picnic on the floor for lunch and then we took all the them and Carl to the playground. That night we got all the food made and ready. It was a fun day/night but we were exhausted and ready for bed super early. Krissy and I stayed the night there Saturday night so we wouldn't have drive back and forth just to be there again all day Sunday. 

Sunday was the baby shower! We did last minute finishing touches of the baby shower stuff and got the house cleaned up. The baby shower was fun, food, fun, gifts and games. After that we took the kids back to the playground, then had pizza for dinner, and hung out, doing pedicures until Army Wives started.

WLC!

Well Jarod has been in WLC the past two weeks....The first 10 days or so were LONG days, he had to leave the house at 430 am and didn't get home til anywhere from 730 to 9. When he did get home he had to do his "homework" for the next day. The last 5 days were spent in the field, where we weren't able to hear from him at all, that was weird, but my friends kept me sane =]

He graduated yesterday. SO proud of him!! He did a great job and looked amazing (as always) in his Class A's.

Time Flys....

All week long I had been thinking "Oh I need to write in my blog" Or "Oh I need to put this in my blog" but here I am a week since my last blog and just now writing....lame! lol.

Krissy's talking up a storm, her hair is getting long, she's always having a blast with Moonlight and growing up entirely too fast =[ But I'm OH SO VERY PROUD OF HER!!!!! =D

I started babysitting last week, Monday and Wednesday I babysat  both Evan and Allyssa and on Friday I babysat just Evan part of the day because Allyssa had an appointment.

Everyone's husbands had Friday off except mine, since he's in WLC, super lame! It's been a rough week as far as WLC goes, Jarod was excited the first few days, really angry and stressed the 3rd day and then there was the weekend which wasn't horrible, I've been helping him with what I can and for the most part that's gone well. until once again yesterday he was pissed off and stressed out. But yesterday was ARMY WIVES night so I got to get away for a little bit and that was ALOT of fun, as usual! We ate chocolate covered marshmallows, amazing jam and crackers and the jello cake I made, all so wonderfully delicious! =] I called 24 hr wal-mart and asked what time they closed...that was funny! Then Heather, Heather and I went next door and tried to scare Heather C's husband Carl, but it didn't work so well! lmao!

On Thursday Adriana and Damian came over and we went to lunch at TGI Friday's for Adriana's birthday! Lots of fun! and then we came back to my house and the kids played on the slip n slide! =]

I talked to an Army Recruiter about getting out of the Reserves and going back to active duty, but if I want to keep my MOS then I have to wait til October to see if they are accepting "new" soldiers with my MOS. If I want to get in now I'd have to be 1 of like 10 MOS's none of which I am (obviously) or want to be. So I guess I have til October til I can really figure out what to do about that...but that's more time to work on my PT I suppose =] Which I really need to do!

Nothing else really exciting is going on. Time is going by WAY TOO FAST =[ I can't believe it's already August...D-Day is coming up too quick ='[ I try not to think about it though...

Adventures in Babysitting!

That Movie ^ was on tv this morning while I was getting ready for my first day of babysitting Evan and Allyssa. How funny =]

For the first day with 3 littles ones it went pretty well. I'm definitely glad that I don't have 3, especially all this close in age, but it wasn't that bad. Krissy was still asleep when they got here this morning, but as soon as she heard them she popped outta bed VERY excited to see Evan! & to give Allyssa kisses. She pushed Allyssa in the swing while I was gettin her bottle ready.

Krissy and Evan played all day, they love playing together, which is awesome! Krissy is a HUGE help with everything, which is even more awesome! =] She's Mommy's little helper, always has been!

Everyone pooped today, that was lovely! lol. Everyone ate reallly well and NO ONE took a nap (except Allyssa for about an hour) But Krissy just fell asleep after eating dinner lol. I guess on Wednesday I need to wear them out a little more so they'll nap, I sure woulda loved if they napped lol.

All in all it was a good day though and Tammi's kids are really well behaved and Krissy did really well with sharing and being nice =] She makes me so proud!

The Weekend

Was pretty uneventful, actually.

Jarod played his Modern Warfare 2, I took Krissy to the park, Jarod packed for WLC, Krissy and I played with play-doh.

We watched "The Losers" HILARIOUS movie! I would recommend it to anyone, I was laughing so hard! lol. And we also watched "The Oxford Murders" which was also good, kind of confusing, but good. I love me some movies =]

She was cranky and whiny most of the weekend, that was a little annoying.

Luckily on Sunday night I got a break...I went to Heather's house and we watched Army Wives and ate brownies and cookies. I like this new Sunday tradition =]

See, pretty uneventful. But It's always nice to spend time with my hubby and Krissy and my friends <3

Just another day...

Yesterday was pay day! Thank the Lord! I paid the bills and went grocery shopping for...get this....110 Dollars! I couldn't even believe it. Got everything we needed for such a small amount...rarely happens! Jarod was proud, so was I =] And yet....we still had barely any money left. IDK where the hell all our money disappears to....cuz we sure don't get to spend it on anything fun, lately! grrrr....life as an adult, gotta love it right?! lol.

Today..oh yea today I did get to spend  some money on something I needed...slime and and air pump for the jogging stroller so I can get my fat butt out for a run! I tried to figure out how to get the slime in  the tires, but I must be having a blonde day cuz the instructions made no sense to me =| Tomorrow I am going to go for a run in the morning, while Jarod watches Krissy so I can get back into the swing of things before I have to push a 34 lb toddler and  heavy jogging stroller lol. I'll let you know how that works out! =\

I've been having a rough few days with some of the things people are

doing and saying....but I'm hoping I'm reading too much into things. Unfortunately when  I bring these issues up and we talk I still feel like I'm being lied to. But, I guess shit happens, I'm replaceable, especially as a friend.....at least that's how I feel. Oh well, my husband and Krissy still love me!

Anyways....that's it....for now.

This is what we signed up for?

One of my friends recently was having a rough time and posted on her FB that she missed her family. I guess someone then told her that "it's what she signed up for" and I have heard that many times, more times than I'd like. It's like since we are military wives we aren't allowed to miss our families....let me make something perfectly clear....

As a Military Wife I didn't sign up for anything, I married the man I love  so that I could SUPPORT him, to be there for him when he needed to vent about work and how much it sucked or to celebrate with him when he gets promoted, gets an award, does an extra good job at work, etc. To send him care packages while he's deployed, to take care of our home and child while he is away. To make sure that our daughter doesn't forget who her Daddy is or that she doesn't forget how very much he loves and misses her! I "signed up" for this marriage because I LOVE my husband with every ounce of my being, and he just so happens to be a Soldier, one of the bravest, most honorable men in the world! And to marry a military man takes a STRONG woman if I do say so myself. BUT that doesn't mean that sometimes we don't have bad days (just like our Soldiers) and that we don't miss our families back home (just like our Soldiers)  We have EVERY right in the world to vent and have a bad day and complain about it, just like every other person in this world. I "signed" up to STAND BY MY MAN and to be the Proud American that I am, the best way I know how, to be a loving wife and the best Mommy I can be. And I AM all of those things, So I think I and every other Military wife has the right to VENT every now and then....so to everyone that feels the need to be inconsiderate and flat out rude Fuck off and learn some respect! If it weren't for our men and what we do here at home while they are away then you wouldn't be Free to be you....so back the fuck off. If you've got nothing ENCOURAGING to say to these amazing women then don't say ANYTHING at all!!

Lazy to Productive!

I woke up at 630 this morning with every intention to work out, eat breakfast and shower. I didn't work out, I did eat breakfast and was feeling SUPER lazy, so didn't even shower til 11...ugh! I don't know what's been up with me but I seriously don't feel like doing ANYTHING, it's pretty ridiculous. I NEED to work out and I had a whole bunch of other crap to do around the house.

I did, obviously, feed Krissy and give her a bath and get her ready for the day.

After lunch I decided to let Krissy go out side and play, because after lunch she was putting on all of her swimsuits and wanted to go outside and play with her beach ball and in the water....

..SOOO I lug the slip n' slide out

and get it all ready to go outside. It's on for about 15

minutes and Krissy tells me she wants to go INSIDE!!

omg, It took me longer to set up and take down the

slip n' slide than the time she spent playing on it.

We get inside and she tells me she wants to go for a walk

she's wandering around the house saying "walk, walk

walk, walk...." LOL. So we walked to Byrne Dairy, I scrounged up some quarters so we could get ice cream. We order SMALL ice creams and the guy making them, obviously sees my small child and he makes these things HUGE, as big as Krissy's head, which is big lol. THEN I have to get him the money while holding two huge ice cream cones, yea ok! We sit outside and eat them, and of course this thing is huge so Krissy almost drops it.....I go inside and ask for a cup, one of the ladies looks at me like i'm crazy and says "what?" I showed her the ice cream cone in my hand and said "can i PLEASE have a cup" as all 3 of the ladies behind the counter are glaring at me. UGH, people are rude around here, it pisses me off!

We finally walk home, Krissy takes a nap

 so I finally start to clean up around the house, folded laundry while watching "Revenge of the Bridesmaids" cute movie lol. cleaned the kitchen, unloaded, loaded and restarted the dishwasher, dusted, vacuumed and last but NOT least I made brownies!! And they smell delicious....

so to sum all this nonsense up, my day went from super lazy to pretty productive, thankfully.

Hopefully Jarod will be on his way home soon so I can start dinner (homemade spaghetter, yum!) and then I'm gonna go to bed, cuz I just feel like I could sleep for days!

Yesterday....

Krissy didn't use the potty at all.

She actually didn't potty much at all,

but when she did it was in her pullup.

We went to the splash park with Heather,

of fun! I ran through the water with Krissy

and got SOAKED! lol. Krissy wasn't really

into the splash park part so she just played

on the playground, but it was still a good day.

When we got home she had a fever, and it kept

coming back off and on. It's the only thing

that is a symptom though. She seems fine and

isn't coughing or sneezing or complaining

of a tummy ache..I have no idea what's going

on. I figure if it continues to come back I'll

take her to the doc tomorrow...or the Urgent

care up the street, cuz we don't have the gas

money to take her to the doc on post =|

I got a box in the mail from my Mom today.

Inside was the Quilt she made me! Which I LOVE!

and very mean LOL.

Last night we had breakfast for dinner,

which is one of my favorite meals!

I make awesome pancaks, if I do say so myself.

& Jarod makes really good scrambled eggs with cheese =]

All in all it was a good day and night!

Potty Training!

Krissy used the potty FIRST thing yesterday morning, she woke up with a dry diaper and then told me she needed to go potty, and she went!! Then she went all day on the potty, only wet her pullup once! Today she hasn't gone yet but she has sat on the potty! I think this might be it, finally! But I'm just going to be patient and see what happens! She'll keep up with it when she's ready, but I hope she's ready now! lol.

Droid

Ugh! My phone! is being SOOO slow, HTC Sense keeps force closing, and EVERYTHING takes forever to load. I had to reset my phone back to factory default, and ever since then it's been actin like crap, not to mention I lost ALL my numbers. Grrrr!!!!!!! I'm so frustrated!

First Blog

I'm new to the blogging world, not really sure how often I'll think to blog until I get the hang of all of this. Right now I don't even have any followers, since I obviously just started this blog, so really I'm just writing to write lol.

Gonna go to a fun day for my husbands unit today, not sure how I feel about it. I get nervous in large groups, people are judgemental, chicks are bitchy, especially the female soldiers, wtf is that about? I used to be one of them, I never acted like that. I've never even met a quarter of the people in Jarod's unit, lame! We'll see what happens.

Krissy will NOT go potty on the potty, she goes thru all the motions, but will not pee once she gets on the potty. Sooo frustrating, I've tried EVERYTHING = Grrr!! Alright, gotta go get ready for the day....hopefully it goes better than I'm anticipating it will.
